Odorization automation, from field control to central monitoring

MachSoft brings field automation, operator HMI screens, process trends and alarm monitoring together with OdorMach Web SCADA. This approach helps make key data from odorization stations visible through a central interface and, where appropriate, available for reporting.

From field control to central monitoring

At an odorization station, the PLC manages field signals and control logic while the HMI presents process values such as flow, consumption and tank level to the operator. The OdorMach Web SCADA layer can bring suitable data together in a central view so that trends, alarms and reports are easier to follow.

Examples from field applications

In this application, the automation cabinet, PLC control hardware and Siemens HMI work together. Operators can follow flow, consumption and tank values through live indicators as well as trend graphs. This makes both field control and changes in process behaviour visible within the same automation setup; signals and alarm logic are configured around the station’s requirements.

Central odorization monitoring with OdorMach Web SCADA

OdorMach is a web-based monitoring layer for bringing key odorization-station data into a central interface. Depending on connected signals and project requirements, the dashboard can bring together flow rate, dosing/concentration, total injection, tank level, trends and alarm information on desktop or mobile.

  • View station status and key process values from one screen
  • Use trends and alarm information to review process changes
  • Enable central access and reporting according to the available data infrastructure and user roles
